Laura cherishes the calming grace and positive energy the practice brings to her and to the world beyond. Yoga has enriched her life for many years and she feels blessed to share that gift with others.
She teaches to share the strength and beauty of the asanas, to inspire joy and clarity, and to translate mindfulness into everyday life. She focuses on breath and movement while exploring form and alignment. She endeavors to create a warm, relaxed, welcoming environment in which people of any level can learn at their own pace, trust their intuition, challenge themselves, and see steady gains in strength, balance, and flexibility.
As a social ecologist and nutrition advocate, Laura brings her compassion for the natural world and her awareness of the mind-body connection to her teaching. She has received more than 500 hours of training in yoga and integrative therapy. As a perpetual student, she continues to explore the vast traditions of yoga and its transformative powers. Private/Semi-private lessons Scheduling an appointment for private or semi-private lessons is an excellent way to develop a beginning yoga practice or to sharpen an already established practice.
