Weekly Featured Recipe - Coconut Chocolate Bliss
Ingredients ¼ cup unsweetened raw cacao powder ¼ cup virgin coconut oil (melted) 3 tablespoons of maple syrup ½ cup shredded coconut A tiny pinch of sea salt (optional)
Mix the melted coconut oil and maple syrup in a bowl. Add the cocoa powder and stir well, getting rid of any lumps. Once you have a smooth mixture, stir in the shredded coconut and sea salt. Pour into a chocolate mold or a parchment paper-lined flat container (such as a 5 inch square ramekin). Place it in the freezer until solid. Depending on where you are located, store the chocolate in the fridge because coconut oil can become liquid at room temperature in warmer climates. Enjoy!
